Privacy Policy
Drew Shaffer Studio is a creative media studio. We make brand film, motion media, and live production work for clients across the United States. This policy explains how the studio handles the limited information people share when they reach out to us through this website.
We keep it short because the collection is narrow, the use is specific, and the sharing is none.
Who we are
Drew Shaffer Studio operates nationally in the United States. The site you are reading is our own. hosted on SiteGround in a US datacenter and managed in-house. If anything in this policy is unclear, write to us at drew@shafferproductions.com and we will answer directly.
What we collect
We collect information only when you choose to submit our contact form. That includes your name, email address, the type of project you are considering, your scope or timeline notes, and the message you send us. Nothing is captured passively. We do not run Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Clarity, or any similar tracker. Standard web server logs, kept by our host for short-term security and uptime purposes, are the only other footprint a visit leaves.
How we use it
Everything you send through the contact form is used for one purpose: responding to you. In practice that means reviewing your inquiry, qualifying whether we are the right studio for the work, and following up as a project moves forward. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or third-party marketers. We do not add you to a newsletter or drip sequence.
Third-party services
A few services touch the site in small, scoped ways:
- YouTube. Reel and project videos are embedded from
youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Cookies are not set until you press play on a video; at that point YouTube’s own terms and policies apply. - Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google’s font CDN so pages render correctly. Google may log the IP address associated with the request as part of delivering the font file.
- SiteGround. Our hosting provider stores the site, the contact form database, and short-term server logs on servers located in the United States.
Cookies
Visitors to this site do not receive advertising or tracking cookies from us. WordPress sets session cookies for logged-in administrators so the editor works correctly, but those cookies never reach you as a visitor. If you press play on an embedded YouTube reel, YouTube may set its own cookies from that point forward.
How long we keep things
Contact form submissions are retained indefinitely as part of our active project records. a working studio often returns to an old thread months or years later. If you would like your inquiry deleted, email drew@shafferproductions.com and we will remove it from our records promptly.
